Book Summary
In the early days of World War II, the Lang family lost everything. Eighty years later, it's time to take it back.

The Nazis have taken control of Austria, and wealthy widower Leopold Lang faces a difficult decision: join the ranks of the foreign power that has taken over his homeland or flee with his children to safety. Leopold makes his choice--but too late. His family is ripped apart, never to be reunited. But decades later, fate brings together the descendants of this broken dynasty in the place where it all began--Falcon Point.

Anna, Cole, and Tess have never met, each relying on fractured pieces of information to understand their Austrian heritage. But when unforeseen opportunities draw these Lang cousins to to Falcon Point, they soon discover they are not alone in their quest to claim the coveted property and the fabled treasure hidden within. Unfortunately, another claimant, one with a much darker heritage, is determined to eliminate the Lang family once and for all.

My Review
Heirs of Falcon Point is a riveting family story that spans generations. It all starts in the early days of World War II as the Lang family becomes entangled with the Nazis. As the family flees from their beloved Austrian manor, the siblings are torn from each another. I found this part of the story was so well written by A.L. Sowards. History is this author's forte. She's written many books in this time period and does another fabulous job.

The rest of the story takes place in current times written by Traci Hunter Abramson, Paige Edwards, and Sian Ann Bessey. Readers meet the great-grandchildren of the original children in the book. Not knowing about each other creates many surprises and upheavals in their lives. Also, the main bad guy is the great grandson of the original man who took away everything from the Lang family. This trustee of the estate does everything he can from letting the Lang descendants take back what is theirs.

This engaging novel is full of action, suspense, romance, history, and family love. Each author adds their own flair to their chapters. Kudos to all of their hard work. Altogether, they've written an epic book that truly is hard to put down. There is so much this book brings that readers will love. The best thing for me is that more of this series is coming in the future.

She has gone on to write a number of bestselling suspense novels that have consistently been nominated as Whitney Award finalists. She considers shoes an optional accessory which became evident when she won her first three Whitney Awards in 2013 (Code Word), 2014 (Deep Cover), and 2016 (Failsafe.) Meet Author Paige Edwards
Paige Edwards is an award-winning author of contemporary regencies with a side-order of suspense. She holds a degree in interior design and has worked professionally in that field. She is styled the Lady Paige Edwards when in Scotland, but her favorite title is Grandma. When she needs a break from writing, she serves as president of the Interfaith Community Council, is fond of digging in the dirt (what some might call gardening), biking battlefields, and kayaking on the lake.
