Christmas Forevermore : A Christmas Romance Collection By Sally Britton, Sarah M. Eden, Ashtyn Newbold, and Karen Thronell-Christmas Romance Book Review

 Book Summary

"To those looking for a sweet Christmas read, look no further!"

"If you like sweet and satisfying happily ever afters and a little bit of Christmas magic, don't miss this charming collection."

This holiday season, fall in love with a brand-new collection of swoon-worthy novellas from four of your favorite historical romance authors. From meddling matchmakers to fortuitous fiascos, the holidays have never been more magical!

“A Family Christmas” by Sally Britton: After years abroad, Cyril Grant worries about relating to his highborn relatives at the family’s holiday celebration. But an unexpected connection with a member of the household staff opens his heart—in more ways than one.

“Christmas Forevermore” by Sarah M. Eden: In this reimagining of the beloved Charles Dickens tale A Christmas Carol, spinster Minna Schofield is inadvertently ensnared by a local matchmaker whose meddling launches Minna on a journey of self-reflection that could lead her to unexpected love.

“Christmas at Cranfield” by Ashtyn Newbold: Though childhood friends Hannah and Samuel secretly adore one another, fate conspires to keep them apart. But after years of shared holidays and missed opportunities, this Christmas brings the hope that their stars will align.

“A Thrill of Hope” by Karen Thornell: After a devastating loss, Christmas holds little appeal for Isabel Reid. But when a snowstorm traps her in the company of a surprising traveling companion, the perpetual winter of Isabel’s heart may just begin to thaw.

My Review

Reading Christmas Romances has become one of my favorite pre-Christmas things to do. Each of these stories were so enjoyable and they were all different too.

You'll find everything from unexpected matchmaking from over zealous relatives & friends, to childhood friends seeing each other in a different light. There are characters trying to heal from past grief and the Christmas season helps them in their healing.

The four authors that wrote these stories are some of the best historical romance writers around. All four stories are ones I would happily read again. They truly jumped started the feeling of celebrating Christmas in my heart. Christmas Forevermore will make the best Christmas present for all of your friends and family that love reading a sweet, clean, historical romance.

****Meet the Authors****

Sally Britton

Sally Britton is sixth generation Texan, received her BA in English forever ago, and reads voraciously. She started her writing journey at the tender age of fourteen on an electric typewriter, and she’s never looked back.

Sally lives in Oklahoma with her husband, four children, and their overly energetic Australian Shepherds, cat, and snake named Nancy. She loves researching, hiking, and eating too much chocolate.

Sarah M. Eden

Sarah M. Eden is the author of many critically acclaimed Western romances, including the Proper Romance series novels, Longing for Home, Hope Springs, The Sheriffs of Savage Wells, and Healing Hearts. Combining her passion for history and an affinity for gentle love stories, Sarah loves crafting witty characters and heartfelt romances. She happily spends hours perusing the reference shelves of her local library and dreams of one day traveling to all the places she reads about.

Ashtyn Newbold

Ashtyn Newbold grew up with a love of stories. When she discovered Jane Austen books as a teen, she learned she was a sucker for romantic ones. Her first novel was published shortly after high school and she never looked back. When not indulging in sweet romantic comedies and regency period novels (and cookies), she writes romantic stories of her own. Ashtyn also dearly loves to laugh, bake, sing, and do anything that involves creativity and imagination.

Karen Thornell

Karen Thornell grew up reading when she should have been sleeping, but it wasn't until 2019 that she started writing. Tired of ending books and saying 'goodbye' to beloved characters, she wondered what it would be like to have her own characters that lived in her head always. It was probably a mark of sleep deprivation that she wanted people living in her head, but the idea was planted regardless.

Karen lives in Utah with her husband and kids. When not writing contemporary or regency romance, she spends her free time doing endless loads of laundry, playing board games, and, yes, talking to those characters in her head.
