I went to City of Bones with someone who hadn't read the book--not so fun! I enjoyed it much more than them because I related to the parts that were in the book but not included in the movie.
ReplyDeleteI'm planning on taking my teenage daughter who has read the books and loves the series. So I'm happy that it is her that I'm planning on taking. ;)
ReplyDeleteTHE HUNGER GAMES! But that might change after I see City of Bones. :) thank you for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteTHE HUNGER GAMES!
ReplyDeleteI loved Speak.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of The Hunger Games and most of the newly released movies based on books. I'm easy to please when it comes to movies and TV series. Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWarm Bodies - the movie was quite good and for a change, better than the book.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
North and South by Elizabeth GaskelL. Thank you for the giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteI thought the Perks of Being a Wallflower movie was one of the most faithful adaptations (in content and spirit) I've ever seen, probably because Chbosky wrote and directed it! Both the book and the movie are now firm favourites. :)
ReplyDeleteThe Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit are both my youthful obsessions, and they were soooo well done.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite would have to be the Harry Potter series
ReplyDeleteI really liked the movie adaptation of Harry Potter. There weren't a whole lot of "did the even read the book?!" moments in them, like there have been in a lot of other book to movie mishaps.
ReplyDeleteThe Princess Bride!
ReplyDeleteAnd I also really love the newest Jane Eyre adaptation.
The Great Gatsby! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteInterview with a Vampire is a great book and movie!

ReplyDeleteI liked Fight Club. The movie was just as entertaining as the book.
ReplyDeleteLes Johnson
Circle of Friends by Maeve Binchy. I love both the book and the movie.
ReplyDeleteThe Hunger Games is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite would have to be the *Twilight* series :) Even though I loved the books more. Only because they couldn't put everything from the books into the movies. :) Thank you for the chance to win this great giveaway :) Good luck to all & Happy Reading :)
ReplyDeleteGone with the Wind by far.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the hop and giveaway.
I can't really answer this because most films don't really live up to the books. I guess Pride and Prejudice came close but that's a miniseries so it doesn't really count.
ReplyDeleteEven though I loved the HP films, the books were much better.
