  1. I went to City of Bones with someone who hadn't read the book--not so fun! I enjoyed it much more than them because I related to the parts that were in the book but not included in the movie.

  2. I'm planning on taking my teenage daughter who has read the books and loves the series. So I'm happy that it is her that I'm planning on taking. ;)

  7. I thought the Perks of Being a Wallflower movie was one of the most faithful adaptations (in content and spirit) I've ever seen, probably because Chbosky wrote and directed it! Both the book and the movie are now firm favourites. :)

  10. I really liked the movie adaptation of Harry Potter. There weren't a whole lot of "did the even read the book?!" moments in them, like there have been in a lot of other book to movie mishaps.

Thanks for the hop and giveaway.

  20. I can't really answer this because most films don't really live up to the books. I guess Pride and Prejudice came close but that's a miniseries so it doesn't really count.
Even though I loved the HP films, the books were much better.
