My Review
I truly love reading the Timeless Romance Anthologies. This Timeless Western Collection is right near the top of my favorites. Every story took place in Wyoming around the same time period but each was very different and unique.
Ellen Found by Carla Kelly takes place in Yellowstone National Park when the Old Faithful Inn was being built. I love this park and have visited the Inn many times through the years. I could see in my mind so much of what was being described as the Inn was being built. The story was very cute and had sweet and scary moments. The love story was a slow build but felt so natural and I loved the friendship between Ellen and Charle's Daughter.
The second story was The Widow of Daybreak by Christine Sterling. It was a real rough and tough Western tale that takes place in an old Western town. There is the gang of slimy bad guys and the sad widow with her two daughters. Brave Dora is threatened by a greasy outlaw but thank goodness there is a handsome cowboy to save the day.
The Third novella is May I Kiss the Bride by Heather B. Moore. I love any story that Heather writes because of how quickly she draws readers into a story. Right from the start I loved the main characters of Viola and Rey. As soon as they meet their chemistry is evident and I loved all of their interactions. I also loved Viola's Aunt Beth and Rey's young daughter Elsie.
Not only did all three have great love stories, but they also showed the strength of women during this time period and being more assertive in the early 1900s. I very much enjoyed this anthology and know that this book will truly make the perfect summer read.

Carla Kelly started writing Regencies because of her interest in the Napoleonic Wars. She likes writing about warfare at sea and ordinary people of the British Isles, rather than lords and ladies. Christine Sterling
Christine Sterling is a USA Today best-selling author who writes small-town inspirational romances with a touch of humor. Most of her stories take place in the plains of Nebraska or Colorado, but she will write wherever there are cowboys needing to find love. Her favorite stories involve tight-knit families, and you will often find that her characters cross over in many of her stories.
She lives on a farm in Pennsylvania with her husband, four dogs, and one spoiled cat, aka The Floof. She can often be found in her garden with a notebook and a cup of tea.
