My Review

The Shifting Current is my first read from author Dani Pettrey. I was very impressed at how quickly the reader is pulled in. Apparently, these characters are in other books but this one can be read on its own. This Christian, Romantic Suspense novel would be considered a novella but I felt like I'd read a 350-page novel. 

The two main characters, Logan and Emmy, work well together as they help to find the people who murdered Logan's grandfather. Their sweet love story is not overshadowed by the suspense but enhanced by what is happening. I enjoyed piecing together the many clues that led to the big revelation at the end. Overall it was a great book and I am for sure going back to read the first three books in this series.
