My Review

I didn't realize this book is part of a series written by different authors: Diamond Cove Romantic Comedy Series. I had read this author before and knew I'd like this book. I not only liked it, but I loved it! It was the perfect book to read as the Winter weather was hitting and I needed something to make me laugh.

The Bad Boy Theory is truly full of laughs. I so enjoyed "The Secret Seven", a group of retired friends that delight in playing matchmakers for their grandchildren. They had me laughing so much at their antics to help Essie Sanchez find her perfect guy. I know that I will for sure go back and read the previous books in this series. You truly don't need to have read any of the other books because it felt complete throughout the whole book. This fun Romantic Comedy has a love triangle that keeps you guessing until the end. The main character, Essie, is very relatable and I know readers will love her. She is so much like the average woman out there wondering if love will ever come her way. When it finally does, she finds out that she is in over her head. Of course, The Secret Seven are there to save the day. With two good-looking but very different guys, Essie is torn about what her heart really wants. I liked both of the men but Noah was more to my liking.

Author Elodia Strain did a great job with this novel. If you are looking for a fun and humorous Romantic Comedy, The Bad Boy Theory will meet your needs to laugh, swoon, and be entertained for several hours.
