ReplyDeleteMy family growing up would come home from the late Christmas Eve mass and make cookies and talk and leave cookies for Santa. As we got older it was a way to reconnect with each other and now we do this with our own families.
We always read Christmas stories on Christmas eve!

We usually all come together at my feet for Christmas but this year I broke y foot in 2 places so we are going to my sons house.

DeleteI like drinking hot cocoa and then opening Christmas gifts on Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWe lay out cookies and milk for Santa and the kids open one gift on Christmas Eve. They also go every year with their church group to sing carols to nursing homes and feed the hungry.

ReplyDeleteWe have a meal together and walk around the neighborhood admiring the lights. sometimes relatives from overseas join for dinner
ReplyDeleteWe take the kids and ride around looking at all the Christmas lights. My mom and I stayed up all night baking cookies for everyone.

ReplyDeleteMy parents and I always open gifts on Christmas morning together, which is the only time we away from my mother's family.
