My Review
A Hopeful Christmas: A Regency Romance Collection is another wonderful book that made me long for Christmas right now. Each story was well written and had such unique story lines. I especially loved this collection because I was already a fan of all of these authors who contributed to this book. I knew that I was in for a great read from each author.

The first book, Lord Blakely’s Gift, was a sweet and often times humorous story. I loved how these star crossed lovers changed the dynamics and history of two feuding families.

The second story, A Season of Hope, was a mixture of sadness, regret, forgiveness, and love. I loved how in the story Christmas time helped bring about a change and healing for many of the characters. I would have loved for this story to be even longer because of how delightful the characters were.

The third story, Christmas by the Sea, was about a family kept apart because of a war. The father comes home after two years away and tries to establish his ties with his family. The husband and wife love each other and despite a conniving act by close family members, a Christmas Miracle can still happen.

The fourth book, Expectations at Canterwood, completely stole my heart. The story of a spinster, mistaken identities, and a rich and touching storyline make this a favorite in this collection. The connection between the two main characters was real and deep. The healing that takes place after many years of suffering was heart-warming.

This collection is another winner for Covenant, with lovely stories, a gorgeous cover, and characters you'll remember long after you read them. This book is a must buy for Regency lovers and is perfect for gift giving this Christmas.
