My Review

After reading Engaging Irene, I sat there with that magical feeling you get after reading a fantastic book. It completely captured my heart from the very first page, and honestly, it is an amazing story that will make you smile.
I truly admire Chalon Linton and her beautiful way of writing clean, wholesome love stories. The fake-courting setup here is executed flawlessly. I loved watching Irene's and Peter’s playful arrangement transform into a deep, undeniable love.
They are both just so incredibly good, kind, and resilient that you can’t help but fall completely in love with them as individuals. Long before they even realized they were falling for each other, I was entirely invested and cheering them on.
What really made this story special to me was the time they spent working together. I loved reading about the wonderful things they did to establish a society to help the less fortunate. Seeing them focus on teaching poor people how to truly sustain themselves added such a beautiful layer of meaning to their time together.
This book has a perfect balance. It features a wonderful, bright sense of fun, witty banter, and a supporting cast of characters who feel like family. But it also has a layer of seriousness and genuine emotional depth that truly touches your heart. It’s lighthearted, sweet, and deeply moving all at once.
This book didn't just entertain me; it stayed with me for many days. In fact, it still is. If you want a story that will make you smile for days, you absolutely have to read it. One thing to remember: any romance written by Chalon Linton will be time well spent in a great reading experience.
