When Fashion Turns Deadly {Falcon Point Suspense #3} By Traci Hunter Abramson and Sian Ann Bessey-Romantic Mystery Suspense Review

 Book Synopsis

In a world of high fashion, some are dressed to kill.

Marit is looking forward to spending Fashion Week in Paris with her boyfriend Lars at her side. But when the police take her in for questioning concerning a crime she did not commit, she calls the only person she knows who can Cole Bridger. When Cole gets to Paris, he quickly finds that everything is not as it seems, so he enlists the help of his girlfriend, Isabelle, and his cousin Lars to ensure Marit’s safety.

Marit has just been named the prime suspect in the theft of a famous fashion designer’s work, and Cole and Isabelle will have to pull out their CIA training yet again to clear their friend’s name. Threats to Marit’s safety are escalating, and Isabelle needs an excuse to stick close to her friend. But for that kind of proximity, she’ll have to go undercover like never as a runway model. The two couples must uncover the secrets swirling.

My Review

When Fashion Turns Deadly is the third book in the Falcon Point Suspense series. Set in Paris during Fashion Week, the story follows Marit, a model who is always excited to shine in the spotlight. However, a lost glove soon puts her in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons as she becomes a suspect in a murder case.  I really enjoyed the thrill and excitement of this story. Marit’s friends, Lars, Cole, and Isabelle, rally together to clear her name and keep her safe, showcasing their strong bonds.

Like the previous books in the series, this one highlights the strong friendship and dedication the four characters have for each other. Each person's strengths play a key role in the story. There is a good mix of humor, along with elements of theft, espionage, mystery, and romance. The couples’ relationships deepened, and I was particularly pleased with the progress of Cole and Isabelle.

When Fashion Turns Deadly is a must-read for anyone who enjoys compelling characters, romance, suspense, and a fascinating glimpse into the elite world of fashion and modeling. This book kept me up late into the night, and every moment spent reading was completely worth it.
