My Review
Where Dreams Meet is a nice collection of Historical Romance Stories that take place throughout America's history. They range from New York, 1781, Richmond VA 1861, New York, 1892, and Washington, DC, 1905. Each story is of a romance in the making and some seem far out of reach at first. There are differences in political stances, societal stations, and personal beliefs. You might like some stories better than others depending on what time period in history you prefer. I tend to love early American history and English Regency History. It was fun to read some time periods I don't normally delve into.
I enjoyed all of the stories in this collection. There were sweet romances in each story. The story with the most humor would have to be Carla Kelly's which took place in 1905 in Washington D.C. I really liked the friendship that turned into romance in this story called The Sun, Moon, Stars, and You. There was a lot of intrigue in Jennifer Moore's story To Love a Spy from the Revolutionary War and Carolyn Twede Frank's story, Where Dreams Meet from 1892 about immigrants heading out west. The story from the Civil War Era, Southern Belle, Yankee Heart by Renae Weight Mackley was a story of longing and brought out aspects of history I hadn't thought of before.
If you are looking for a collection of romances that highlight American History then you will enjoy reading, Where Dreams Meet.
