  54. I'll keep it to two!

Pamela Clare is back with another fantastic installment to her I-Team romantic suspense series. Seduction Game is sizzling with heat and intrigue between two CIA officers. The heroine has always given the impression of shallowness, and it's been a hoot getting to know her better and deeper in this book. Who knew she'd turn out to be kick-ass? I think to better appreciate her story, though, you need to have read the previous six novels (and four novellas) to get a handle on how her character unfolds. Seduction Game is a notably lighter read than most of the others.

And then there's the incredibly swoony Sustained by Emma Chase. It has that Tangled "magic" I'd been looking for, but failing to see, in her works succeeding that one. It's really sweet, with all the happy feels as we read the hero fall in love with not only the heroine but also her gang of wards (niblings).
