Come Join Me For 2010 Reading Challenges!

I will be participating in two reading challenges this new year of 2010. The first is this challenge at J.Kaye's Book Blog.

New 2010 Reading Challenge: 100+ Reading Challenge

The way I see this is, I am already reading SO many books, I might as well make them count somewhere. Even though I did not "keep track" by writing down book titles in 2009, I can tell you that I did indeed read over a 100 books last year. To me, reading is just as important as breathing. If I could not read, life would really be unbearable for me.

I am hoping that many of you, that drop by here, will join me in this reading challenge. If you decide to participate with me, please let me know by leaving a comment here at my blog. It would also be great to go to J.Kaye's blog and sign up for the challenge there. At the end of 2010 we can total all of our books together to see how many books we read all together.

There is also one other reading challenge that I will be participating in during 2010. It is the

The 2010 Young Adult Reading Challenge

This challenge is also sponsored by J. Kaye at her blog

Now, you do not have to be a Young Adult, to participate in this challenge. Though my heart is still a young adults', my "real age" is nowhere near that of a young adult. All that you must do, to participate in the Young Adult Reading Challenge, is read Young Adult books. Since this is one of my favorite genres to read anyhow, I signed up for this challenge last month.

Once again, anyone who would like to join me in this challenge, please let me know here at my blog. Remember, you need to go to J.Kaye's blog to officially sign up for either challenge.

I am so excited for all of the great reading that I will be doing in 2010. In the next several weeks, I will be highlighting my favorite books I am looking forward to reading in this coming year. The books I will be telling you about will mainly be new releases in 2010.

Here's to a great start of 2010 and Happy New Year!!

  2. I could swear, one day I'm a "follower" on some of these blogs, and the next day I'm not. What's up with that?

Anyway, I only read 29 books last year. I'm a slow reader and don't have as much reading time as I wish I did. So I won't be joining your 100 book challenge, but I'll be excited to see the variety of books you read this year!
